Progress on 262 Fifth Avenue Construction
Construction at 262 Fifth Avenue, a 56-story residential skyscraper located in NoMad, Manhattan, has now reached the roof parapet level. Developed by Boris Kuzinez of Five Points Development, this project under the Five Points 262 Project LLC showcases the architectural vision of Meganom, with SLCE Architects acting as the executive architect.
Design and Specifications
The impressive structure rises to a height of 860 feet and will comprise 26 luxurious condominium units, each averaging around 3,200 square feet. One notable feature includes at least one quadruplex unit. The project relies on GEA Consulting Engineers for MEP engineering, while CM & Associates Construction Management serves as the general contractor.
Current Milestones in Construction
Since our last update in late December, where crews were busy forming double-height floors on the upper levels, significant progress has been made. Recent images show the structure topped out and crews now working on the steel framework for a rectangular canopy designed to shelter the communal roof terrace.
Anticipated Timelines
As construction continues, YIMBY anticipates that the installation of the facade will begin shortly. The completion of the roofing work is expected by the end of the month. This marks a crucial phase in bringing the architectural design to life.
