Position Overview
GFC is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Global People and Culture. This newly created, full-time role is crucial to strengthening and scaling the organization’s global People & Culture (P&C) function. The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR/P&C professional who thrives in distributed environments, is passionate about equity and well-being, and possesses a knack for transforming strategies into effective systems.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
The Senior Manager will serve as the operational and systems backbone of the Global People and Culture function. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading global P&C operations across various time zones.
- Managing contracts, HRIS development, and compliance.
- Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes in conjunction with Finance and Operations.
- Maintaining accurate global personnel records and reporting.
- Designing templates and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Supporting Staff and Managers
The Senior Manager will also act as a primary point of contact for P&C policies, benefits, and inquiries related to leave. They will provide crucial support to managers by supplying tools and processes for effective supervision, ensuring clarity regarding employment terms through close coordination with PEO/EOR partners.
Qualifications Needed
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess significant experience in global People and Culture or HR operations. Strong knowledge of international employment compliance, excellent communication skills in English, and proven ability to support distributed and multicultural teams are essential.
