Workshop Overview
The ARt + Tech workshop is designed to inspire students to unleash their creativity while diving deep into the innovative realms of augmented reality. 🎨✨ Participants will be encouraged to imagine beyond traditional boundaries.

Hands-On Experience

- Work with prefabricated 3D assets
- Incorporate personal media into their projects
- Infuse cultural elements that reflect their backgrounds and communities
Guidance from Esteemed Artists
Participants will be guided by prompts inspired by virtual reality artworks commissioned by Miami MoCAAD. The workshop will feature the creativity of renowned artists from Africa and the African Diaspora, including influences from Brazil, Haiti, Zimbabwe, and Miami’s own Mark Thomas Gibson.
